Curling Trophies Awards Blog Curling Trophies Curling is a professional sport likened to lawn bowling and shuffle board; some people would say that it is almost like playing chess on ice because of the precision which is required to move the natural stones.  Curling trophies are awarded to the teams that show excellence in the sport.  Because Curling is a popular sport in Canada and Finland, this is where most Curling Trophies are awarded. Curling is a sport played by both men and women, teams consist of either all men or all women.  If the team is to be mixed, it would consist of two men and two women.
